Merle Blasjo’s abiding interest in travel, history, science, and politics contributes perspective to his writing and many ideas. A former scientist in the aerospace/military technology world, he now applies his creative talents to writing fiction and history. His college writing courses and his participation in the Santa Barbara Writing Conferences propelled him toward the completion of his first novel, “Encounters In Paradise“. He is currently at work co-authoring a history of Santa Barbara North County.
